Guinea Insurance Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs Chinenye Nwankwo as the in-house company secretary cum legal adviser of the company.

According to a statement issued by the firm, the appointment is following the resignation of Mrs Oluranti Oke.

The statement said Nwankwo was a seasoned legal practitioner with over 10 years of experience and expertise in litigation, corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance, company secretarial practice.

It noted that before joining the firm, she led the legal and compliance unit of the Financial Derivatives Company Limited and had functioned as company secretary to similar public quoted companies, multinationals and startups in the technology industry.

The statement added Nwankwo graduated with a degree in law from the University of Nigeria, Nsuka in 2008 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009.
